Scrappy Day at Sue's

Realised I hadn't blogged the LO's from the Scrappy day at Sue's! Used SL and CD kits - not sure which ones!Here they are:
Ollie: Will's trousers are always falling down as he is so tall for his age but "tin ribs" so nothing to keep them up! My friends and I at my cocktail party for my birthday I've had the photo's of Will and Ollie's first shoes for ages - finally scrapped them Our new car! It's reg is UGG and has earned it the the name "the beast"

Found a new sketch site (Thanks Fay!) Sketchy Thursday So here are 2 LO's using the last 2 sketches. This LO's is something I have wanted to record for a while, it is a copy of my brother's speech at Mum's funeral. The journalling reads:
I don't know how Glenn managed to give his speech at Mum's funeral. He held it together, he was funny, tender and so full of pride for Mum. He was amazing. Never thought he would do it and I was so proud to stand beside him as he did it.

Long Time no post!

Wow! What a busy summer! I have been crafting a bit and here are the LO's.

Firstly a couple of LO's using my SL kit and CD kits

I went to a fab all day crop with Sue where the Amazing Tracie Hudson was teaching us 4 LO's, 2 Prima and 2 Sassfrass, Here are mine.

This weekend I went to Fun crops 1st BD crop with Kay, Sal, Shirley and Sarah and lots of other lovely ladies. We had a kit to make a mini book and LO from, My mini book was voted the winner!!

Crafy Day

Had a lovely day at Sue's, did alot of chatting and crafting!
First LO is from June's SL kit with some added extras. Will doing his rock star stage jump off the sofa! Boys at Natural History Museum Ollie giving Will some brotherly love whether he wanted it or not!last 2 are from my first Cocoa Daisy kit.
Canvas of Mum, really please with this Mum and Will, Mum called Will her "little Man" (this is the pre workshop challenge for the Tracie Hudson workshop I am doing next week - was a sketch and had to use paint, ribbon and 5 lines or more of journalling)

Finally some crafting

Finally managed to get some crafting done with my May kits!
Firstly my SL kit
Ollie has started pulling this really frowny/pouty face when he doesn't get his own way. I saw the rules on Emily Falconbridges blog - Very funny!
1. If I like it, it is mine.
2. If it is in my hands, it is mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it is mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it is mine.
5. If it is mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I am doing or building something, all of the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks just like mine, it is mine

My friend came down in his plane and took Will and Mike up in his plane. LHS of the LO is scrunched up and painted toliet paper! (Challenge from scrapping outside the book)

I didn't manage to complete any of the challenges over on SFIO this month but the kit was lovely so I did this Lo of Ollie from the holiday

Scarlet Lime - more LO's

Did a couple more LO's usng the March/April SL kit.

First one is about the boys fancy dress at nursery. It was an under the water theme, Wll chose to be a Sting Ray and Ollie was a Jelly fish! Will wore his all day and Ollie kept saying "jelly fish off!"

It was the first time I have made them costumes and I felt like a proper Mum!

This one is for a challenge on Cocoa Dasiy which was to use a CD cover as inspiration, I chose this one.

Scarlet Lime - April Kit

finally got my SL kit! Had a big scrap day at Lisa's - just what the Dr ordered! Also it was my turn to set a challenge for the ladies on UKS with their SL kits!

So my challenge is - Scissor Happy!
There are alot of bold papers in the kit so my challenge is to cut them up! Lo about my little crop! with Sue, Lisa and Nicky

This LO is about how Will is starting to "read" to Ollie, it's so cute! Oh and I have finally used my sewing machine on my LO's - I LOVE IT!

I got my March SL kit this week and had a big scrap session last night!
Reality of a newborn babyWill and I - Will is 10 days old!

Mother's Day - never going to be the same. With Mothers Day this week I have been thinking about Mum alot. I know I am a Mum now but I still that mothers day is about me being the child. I miss looking for gifts for mum, seeing all the adverts makes my heart ache, makes me feel like I am having my nose rubbed in the fact I don't have Mum anymore.

CUGGLE Ollie can't say cuddle, he says cuggle!

Fun at the Farm Had a spur of the moment trip to the farm yesterday, just the 3 of us - it was great.
