Made something for me!

I picked up this fab little chipboard and tag book at the Newbury Craft show (think it was from the Blonde Moments stand) and decided to do something for me! I used my kit from Sarah's cards (June Rhonna Farrer French twist ) I'm really chuffed the result!

Just for Laughs challenge

One of the July challenges on Just Bex was to do a LO that makes you laugh. This makes me laugh on two levels - One is my brother and nephew's faces and second is the words - they are from a Chas and Dave song and we are a big fans in my family!

Rach's SB Challenge on CBC

Here is my effort for Rach's challenge on CBC. Rach's challenge was a LO with the following 3 things:

*either clothing or shoes (BUT YOU MUST NOT BE WEARING THEM)
*shades of one colour only to be used (will allow a little black / white for doodling and journaling)
*and it must have hidden journaling

So this mine! the hidden journaling is on the circles behind the flower - you spin the flower to read it.
"Mum wasn't sure when I pointed this coat out but loved it when she tried it on. She was then over the moon when a couple of weeks later someone stopped her at the station and commented on how lovely it was and how great she looked in it - Her coat of many colours!"

Something Different

Had ago at something different. Keyring for a friend made from shrink plastic and hand decorated.

Just Bex Challenges

Finally completed two LO for the challenges over on Just Bex.

First was a LO using another SWOT (Sue Watkinson Orginal Template!) so it was only right to use the lovely page kit Sue gave me in ecxhange for some stamps (as she hasn't got that many!)

Second had to be a TV or Film inspired LO - So here is Will with his favourite toys from Disney's "CARS" he is actually saying "I am speed" and I just caught the "Speed" part!

Ice Cream fun!

Had a lovely afternoon in the park with Will and Dylan - and they really enjoyed the ice creams that grandad brought them! They kept laughing at each others ice cream faces!

I did the Race for Life!

Well we did it! We "walked" the race for life in 1hr and 3mins - not bad for being unfit and 8 mths pregnant!(Carly that is not me!) I can feel a very PINK LO coming on!

Altered Letters

Another "Just Bex" challenge. this time to alter a letter. I picked up these MDF letters at the Newbury craft show and Altered them for the boys rooms, both inkeeping with their bedroom decor.

Will the builder!

Will is into "fixing"things at the moment so I brought a little tool kit for him!!!

Photo Swop on CBC

Remember the photo swop on CBC well here is the page Mel did for me and it is just ACE!In fact I loved it so much I have used it as inspiration to create another LO to go with it!Pictures are from our wedding day. Mike's family are from Liverpool and joked about turning up in shell suits and football shirts with a burger van! and in the middle of the evening do all the men appeared in said outfits with scouse wigs and moustaches! and of course everyone ended up wearing them! They all looked great with their finery.

This LO is for challenge on CBC. Again a music inspirired LO but not allowed to be 12x12 (very mean Sue, very mean)

Ok I have cheated a bit - this LO is 11x11! But that is because I wanted it for a 12x12 book!

Song Lyric LO challenge

Another challenge done for Just Bex. This one was a LO with song lyrics as the title. Well with 2 boys it couldn't be anything other than "He ain't heavy he's my brother!"
Have used my new banana frog alphabet stamps and had play with my fimo alaphbet mould for the "heavy" didn't come out too bad but need more practice on the marbling LOL

Sleep LO for Just Bex

Here is my LO for July Challenge 3 on "Just Bex". Had to do a LO involving sleeping. When we go and check on Will at night we keep finding him asleep on the floor beside his bed on his big cushion! No idea why!

Title for LO?
