New Challenge Blog

Found another new challenge blog : Punk rock Scrapper - it's brand new and the first challenge is due 1st March but they have launched a pre challenge challenge! Scrap 10 things you hate! It was quite theraputic really! The card stock is pre-embossed but it doesn't show up to well in the photo.

Never ending Card

When we were at Sal's last week Ali showed us how to make a "Never ending LO" (think it was total papercrafts design) and Kay and I decided to try and see how it would convert to a 6x6 card. Here is mine!

LO's and SFTIO

I did this LO at the Abingdon crop last weekend.Pencillines sketch from a couple of weeks ago. Ollie is now in a bed and he kept getting out so now there is a stair gate on his door, but he just sits and plays in his doorway using the light from Will's room! (title is from a Charlie and Lola kids book)

Over on SFIO this months emotion is Compassion. The first chellenge was about a cause you feel passionate about, mine is cancer research. I have lost both my grandfather, my aunt and my Mum to cancer.2nd Challenge was a LO about how we show compassion to ourselves

52Q and Altered Book

52Q No5 Today I feel ..... Like a big kid! I love the snow, I want to build snowmen, make snow angels and throw snowballs!Latest page for my altered book is about my love of pink! I was never into it as a kid and didn't really develop a love for it until a couple of years ago, so now I am making up for lost time!

Bad Girls and some altered stuff!

Bad Girls have launched a new blog for 2009 called Project 52 and the latest project inspirsed me to make this mobile for ME! It will go in my "Stuff Room" (as Will calls it!) when it is redecorated (it is Will's old room so is Blue - but despite what my Hubby thinks it will be PINK! I need some girlyness in this male house!)

Another LO using the Jan kit. My Mum's oldest friend has just got a new puppy and has called her Jan - Star of Thatcham (her offical kennel club name, Janet was my mum's name and Thatcham where she lived) Such a lovely thing to do, and we didn't know until she sent the photos. The certificate hides the letter she wrote to my Dad.

And Altered stuff! I have had this little doll thing for ages, thinking I would do "something" with it, well now I have! painted pink, covered in scraps of paper and some angel wings.

And my 3rd altered book page inspired by the snow! RH page has die cut snowflakes that have then been covered in pearl paint.
