My Quirks mini book

A while ago a saw a class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking by Nic Howard which was called "Confessions". It was to create a mini book about those strangle little habits that you have. Anyway I decide to call mine "My Quirks" and is 12x6Inside page just explains the bookFirst page about how I like my loo roll! I have to resist the urge to change it over when I am in other peoples houses!This pages is about my dislike of odd numbers. TV/radio volumes etc have to be set to an even number. Odd numbers are evil lookingMy "grimace" face! I pull it when I concentrate - I don't realise I am doing it alot of the time.Clumsy - I don't think I am but alot of clumsy things do happen around me - that doesn't make me clumsy though - right?Stropy - I am, most people don't see that side of me, but I can be like a child at times

I was a very shy child, probably up until I went to Uni, and then my confidence grew. I am still quite shy and queit around people I don't know. I hope I can teach the boys to be strong and confident people, self doubt is a horrible emotion to have.

I don't know this Abba song, but for me it is the title that sticks. I love my brother and we are very close, that sometimes causes problems as we know each other too well - but I love him with all my heart (even though I want to kill him sometimes, I'm sure the feeling is mutual!)

One of me as a baby Another challenge from Scrapping from the inside out, this one was to use a song title and include your wishes for the future. Journalling is about how I hope that Will and Ollie are always there for each other not just as brothers but also as friends Lastly the very talented Sue gave me a book for christmas and I have finally got around to putting photos in it!!!

Bad Girls Top Designer 2008 - Class 2

Yeah! I got through the first round so onto round 2 (though I am not hopefully this week!)

This class was about mixing different patterned papers. We had to take the colour palette from the photo and then use at least 2 different patterned papers

Here is my effort. I don't think I have ever stressed so much over what patterned paper to use on a LO!

this song makes me sad. Mum brought Dad tickets to see the west end show in the Oct and she died in June. Dad and I went to see it together, it was great but emotional, this is the opening song in the show and it's the line about "I believe in angels" that always gets me.

Scrapping from the inside out - Comfort

This months theme is Comfort.

Challenge 1 was to use the tree motif in the card and creat something that is a comfort to you. The tree made me think of a family tree so I used the Maya Rd mini book to make a family tree!Challenge 3 was use something on your LO in a way it was intended. So I made a toilet roll mini book! I orginally saw those over on Bad Girls and then Shirley had one at the crop.

Each page is a word association on the word COMFORT and what it means to me. the tags inbetween goes into each choice .

Challenge 4 LO about food,

I am a comfort eater! Casserole and dumplings is my childhood comfort food, I would always ask Mum to make it.

My current fav comfort food is sausage, mash and red wine and onion gravy.
